Important information for authors

• • Article Processing Charge (APC):
    For manuscripts accepted on or after 1 September 2025, the publication fee is 800 EUR.
    The fee covers editorial handling, peer review, plagiarism screening, typesetting, online publication, and long-term archiving.
  • Plagiarism screening:
    All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism-detection software. Manuscripts with significant overlap or insufficient originality will be rejected.
  • Peer review process:
    All submissions undergo blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Publication ethics:
    The journal adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Authors are expected to submit only original work, properly cite all sources, and avoid any form of academic misconduct.
  • If authors have used AI tools in the preparation of their manuscript, this must be clearly stated in the article.
  • Corresponding author contact details and identity verification:
    The corresponding author must provide a valid institutional email address whenever available. If an institutional email address is unavailable, a personal email address may be used, provided that its association with the author can be independently verified, for example through an institutional webpage or a previously published article listing that address.
    The editorial office may request additional information to verify the identity and affiliation of the corresponding author or any co-author. Manuscript processing may be placed on hold until the requested verification is completed.
  • Withdrawal, corrections and retractions:
    Before publication, authors may request withdrawal of their manuscript by contacting the editors, stating the reason and confirming the agreement of all co-authors.
    After publication, concerns affecting the accuracy or integrity of an article will be assessed by the editors in accordance with COPE guidelines. Depending on the findings, the journal may publish a correction, an expression of concern or a retraction.
    Retraction notices will clearly identify the article, explain the reasons for retraction and state who is retracting it. Each notice will receive its own DOI and be linked to the original article. The original article will normally remain accessible, clearly marked as retracted, and the relevant Crossref metadata will be updated. The original DOI will remain active.
  • Copyright and open access policy:
    All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.
  • Repository policy:
    Authors may deposit all versions of their article (submitted, accepted, and published) in institutional or subject repositories of their choice.
